Abstract:
The present invention relates to semi-automatic and safe nail clippers which can easily cut nails to the length desired by the user, can prevent scattering of the nails severed during cutting, and can prevent accidents which sometimes happen to infants and children since the blades used for cutting are provided on the inside of the main body. The semi-automatic and safe nail clippers according to one preferred embodiment of the present invention comprise: a main body, on the inside of which is formed a space and on the outside of which is formed a nail insertion recess that connects through to the space; a ring-shaped rotational blade member which is rotatably provided inside the space and of which the edge blade is positioned towards one side of the nail insertion recess; and a fixed blade member which is provided inside the space and of which the blade at the front is positioned towards the other side of the nail insertion recess such that it can cross over the blade of the ring-shaped rotational blade member towards the nail insertion recess.
