Abstract:
Provided are a switching circuit for controlling an input signal to be converted
whether into an RZ or NRZ signal synchronized with a clock signal for output, a
first processing circuit that reads the input signal and outputs a first signal
corresponding to the input signal when the clock signal level is high and keeps
and outputs the first signal when the clock signal level is low, and a second processing
circuit that reads the first signal and externally outputs a second signal corresponding
to the first signal when the clock signal level is low and externally outputs,
according to the control of the switching circuit, a low-potential signal or
the existing second signal when the clock signal level is high. Both functions
of an NRZ identification circuit and an NRZ/RZ conversion and identification
circuit can be achieved by switching between the two functions instead of providing
respective circuits.
