Abstract:
A semiconductor control device 1 is provided with: gate drive units (2, 3) that drive respective elements (QH, QL); and a current detector 20 that directly or indirectly detects a current (Imu) flowing through an intermediate terminal (Tb) to which the element (QH) and the element (QL) are connected, the current detector thereafter outputting a current detection signal (sig1). The gate drive units (2, 3) are provided with gate signal generation circuits (5a, 5b). The gate signal generation circuits (5a, 5b) generate, as gate signals (smdH, smdL): first signals which are corresponding command signals (sigH, sigL) that have been altered by a control unit 4 on the basis of the current detection signal (sig1) and that have further been corrected on the basis of outputs of circuits (6a, 6b) reflecting the rate of change of principal currents (IdH, IdL) of the elements (QH, QL); and second signals which are the corresponding command signals (sigH, sigL) that were output by the control unit 4 and that have been corrected on the basis of the outputs of the circuits (6a, 6b) and the current detection signal (sig1).
