Abstract:
Disclosed is a semiconductor control device comprising: a switching element including a main element, and a sense element that is connected in parallel to the main element; and a control circuit that biases a sense electrode of the sense element with a negative voltage for turning on the sense element, and that detects a leakage current of another switching element connected in series with the main element. The control circuit biases the sense electrode with the negative voltage in a manner such that, for example, the sense element is turned on without turning on the main element.
