Abstract:
A semiconductor device has first and second switch elements, and at least one third switch element. The at least one third switch element is equipped with a first and a second terminal. The first and second switch elements are each equipped with an ion conductor and a first electrode that is connected to and provides metal ions to the ion conductor, and a second electrode that is connected to the ion conductor and is less susceptible to ionization than the first electrode. Either: (a) the first electrode of the first switch element and the first electrode of the second switch element are electrically connected and the first terminal of the at least one third switch element is electrically connected only to the aforementioned first electrodes that are electrically connected, or (b) the second electrode of the first switch element and the second electrode of the second switch element are mutually electrically connected and the first terminal of at least one third switch element is electrically connected only to the aforementioned second electrodes that are mutually electrically connected.
