Abstract:
The present invention suppresses erroneous operation of an overcurrent protection circuit caused by the rise of a sense voltage during a mirror period immediately after turning-off of a semiconductor switching element. This semiconductor device is provided with: a semiconductor switching element 12; a sense resistor 16; an overcurrent protection circuit 104 that outputs a control signal for controlling on-driving and off-driving of the semiconductor switching element 12 on the basis of whether the sense voltage exceeds a threshold value; and a diode 36 that clamps the sense voltage. The overcurrent protection circuit 104 outputs, as the control signal, a signal for off-driving the semiconductor switching element 12 when the sense voltage exceeds the threshold value.
