Abstract:
A semiconductor device (10) comprise the following: an inverter circuit (1) that, due to the ON and OFF switching of four switching elements (Q1-Q4) which are full-bridge connected, converts DC voltage to AC voltage and outputs the same; two conductive paths (3a, 3b) that are conductors connected to the output of the inverter circuit (1); and a clamping circuit (2) that connects the two conductive paths (3a, 3b) when two switching elements (Q5, Q6) are ON. The inverter circuit (1), the two conductive paths (3a, 3b), and the clamping circuit (2) are fit into a single casing (10a).
