Abstract:
According to the embodiment of the present invention, a semiconductor device is provided with a drive control circuit, a receiving circuit, and a control unit. The semiconductor device transmits wireless signals to a power receiving apparatus, which charges a battery with power obtained from the received wireless signals. The drive control circuit controls intensity and modulation of the wireless signals. The receiving circuit receives a response signal and a charge completion signal, which have been formed by modulating the wireless signals by the power receiving apparatus and transmitted therefrom. In the case where the control unit has not received the response signal or has received the charge completion signal, the control unit controls the drive control circuit such that the drive control circuit transmits power that makes communication possible with the power receiving apparatus, and a query signal. In the case where the control unit has received the response signal and has not received the charge completion signal, the control unit controls the drive control circuit such that the drive control circuit transmits charging power that can charge the battery.
