Abstract:
This semiconductor device has a pixel array, multiple column circuits, an amplifier, switch arrays of a first layer to an n-th layer, and signal lines of the first layer to the n-layer, wherein n is an integer not less than 2. The switch array of an i-th layer is disposed between the amplifier and the switch array of a (i+1)-th layer, wherein i is an integer not less than 1 but less than n. The signal line of the first layer is connected to the amplifier. The signal line of the n-th layer is connected to the switch array of the n-th layer. The multiple switches included in the switch array of the n-th layer are connected to the respective column circuits.
