Abstract:
The present invention suppresses an increase of a circuit scale.
A semiconductor device (1) is provided with control circuits (1a, 1b) and memory (1c). Furthermore, an external element (2) is connected to the semiconductor device (1). The control circuit (1a) includes a monitor unit (1a-1) and a regulator (1a-2). The monitor unit (1a-1) receives a voltage signal wherein a pulse signal having a plurality of different voltage levels is superimposed on a power supply voltage, and outputs monitor results by monitoring the level of the voltage signal. The regulator (1a-2) generates an internal voltage. The memory (1c) is supplied with the internal voltage, and is to be used for trimming for the purpose of adjusting electrical characteristic values. The control circuit (1b) is supplied with the internal voltage, reproduces, on the basis of the monitor results, clock and data on the basis of the pulse signal, and performs trimming with respect to the memory (1c) using the clock and data.
