Abstract:
This semiconductor integrated circuit has: a clock-generation circuit (M21); a signal-processing circuit (M23) that, on the basis of a clock signal outputted by the clock-generation circuit (M21), outputs a strength signal corresponding to the strength of an external magnetic field, said strength signal being based on the time interval between a first spike-shaped voltage waveform and a second spike-shaped voltage waveform that is the next waveform detected after the first spike-shaped voltage waveform and has a sign opposite to that of the first spike-shaped voltage waveform; and a clock control circuit (M22) that performs control so as to stop the output of the strength signal from the signal-processing circuit during, at least, preceding stop periods which are before the peaks of a triangle wave and last for 1-5% of the period thereof and following stop periods which are after the peaks of the triangle wave and last for 1-5% of the period thereof.
