Abstract:
The present invention provides a semipermeable composite membrane in which environmental load is reduced, and a method for manufacturing the semipermeable composite membrane. The semipermeable composite membrane 100 has, on a porous support body 102, a semipermeable membrane 104 including a crosslinked polyamide 120 and cellulose nanofibers 110. A silane coupling agent is bonded to the cellulose nanofibers. The method for manufacturing the semipermeable composite membrane includes: a step for obtaining a liquid mixture containing water, an amine component, and cellulose nanofibers 110 in which a silane coupling agent is bonded to the surface thereof; and a step for bringing the liquid mixture into contact with a porous support body 102 and then causing the amine component in the liquid mixture adhering to the porous support body 102 to undergo a crosslinking reaction, thereby obtaining a semipermeable composite membrane 100.
