Abstract:
A semipermeable membrane that comprises a polyether sulfone, a sulfonated polyarylene ether copolymer and polyvinylpyrrolidone and that has cytokine adsorption ability suitable for the use in continuous renal function replacement therapy. The sulfonated polyarylene ether copolymer contains, as copolymerization components, a repeating unit of a hydrophobic segment represented by formula (1) and a repeating unit of a hydrophilic segment represented by formula (2). In the whole semipermeable membrane, the content ratio (ratio by mass) of the polyether sulfone/the sulfonated polyarylene ether copolymer/polyvinylpyrrolidone is 75-90/7-22/3-18.
