Title:
SENSING DEVICE AND BIOSENSOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/011479
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided are a sensing device and a biosensor, which are capable of achieving stable performance in sensing sugars or hydroxyl group-containing polymers, and which can be stored for a long period of time. A biosensor (8) of the present invention uses a sensing device (16) wherein a completely synthetic phenylboronic acid compound (21) is bonded as a component for sensing glucose without using an enzyme that has been conventionally used. Consequently, the biosensor (8) has eliminated the problem of protein denaturation, and is capable of achieving stable performance in sensing glucose. In addition, the biosensor (8) can be stored for a long period of time.
