Abstract:
Provided is a remote sensing device for enabling high-speed observation of an observation object. A sensing device (100) for detecting electromagnetic waves from an observation object moving in relative fashion and observing the observation object is provided with a mirror surface (12D), the reflection direction of which can be changed, a mirror surface (12F), the reflection direction of which can be changed, a sensor (13A) for detecting electromagnetic waves from the observation object which are reflected by the mirror surface (12D), and a sensor (13B) for detecting electromagnetic waves from the observation object which are reflected by the mirror surface (12F). The sensor (13A) and the sensor (13B) each detect electromagnetic waves from a different portion of the observation object. The angle range of a mirror surface of a polygon mirror (12) for reflecting the electromagnetic waves detected by the sensor (13A) and the angle range of a mirror surface of a polygon mirror for reflecting the electromagnetic waves detected by the sensor (13B) are mutually different, and the field of view in which the sensor (13A) detects electromagnetic waves and the field of view in which the sensor (13B) detects electromagnetic waves are mutually different. The sensor (13B) or the sensor (13A) also measures white calibration data or a dark current in a period that is at least a portion of the period during which the sensor (13A) or the sensor (13B) is detecting electromagnetic waves from the observation object.
