Title:
SENSITIZING DYE, SENSITIZING DYE COMPOSITION FOR PHOTOELECTRIC CONVERSION, AND PHOTOELECTRIC CONVERSION ELEMENT AND DYE-SENSITIZED SOLAR CELL USING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/180112
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
This novel sensitizing dye is represented by general formula (1): [in the formula, Ar represents an aryl group, R1-R4 represent a hydrogen atom, halogen atom, cyano group, hydroxy group, nitro group, nitroso group, thiol group, alkyl group, cycloalkyl group, alkoxy group, cycloalkoxy group, alkenyl group, aryl group, or amino group, X represents a sulfur atom, oxygen atom, or CR5R6, R5 and R6 represent an alkyl group or aryl group, and Z represents a monovalent group], and has a wide photosensitive wavelength range. By using the sensitizing dye as a sensitizing dye composition for photoelectric conversion, a photoelectric conversion element and dye-sensitized solar cell which have high photoelectric conversion efficiency can be provided.
