Abstract:
Provided is a sensor control device comprising: a reading control unit that controls an event-driven type vision sensor including a sensor array constituted of sensors that generate an event signal upon detecting an intensity change in incident light, so that an event signal in a first region on the sensor array is read at a first frequency, and an event signal in a second region on the sensor array is read at a second frequency higher than the first frequency; and a region setting unit that changes at least part of the first region to the second region on the basis of the number of first event signals acquired by reading in the first region in a prescribed time, or changes at least part of the second region to the first region on the basis of the number of second event signals acquired by reading in the second region in a prescribed time.
