Abstract:
Diagnosis of a fault resulting in an abnormal value of an input signal, from an amplification circuit, in an intermediate region of GND and Vcc is performed with high precision. If a first NOx concentration (Ip2W) based on the output (OP1) of a first differential amplification circuit (210) and/or a second NOx concentration (Ip2N) based on the output (OP2) of a second differential amplification circuit (220) is within an abnormality diagnosis range (ZN), the difference (D) of the first NOx concentration (Ip2W) and the second NOx concentration (Ip2N) is obtained. Sixteen samples going back into the past from the present difference (D) are stored in a difference accumulation buffer (BF), the integrated value (difference integrated value) (Dint) of these differences (D) is found, and a diagnosis result of "abnormal" is determined if the difference integrated value (Dint) is equal to or greater than a prescribed value (Di0).
