Abstract:
[Problem] To obtain a higher bit rate with the same chip rate as the related art which can only express one bit with one code string. [Solution] A sensor controller according to the present invention, which is used in a position detection device which detects the position of a pointing device upon a touch screen, comprises: an MCU which outputs a value of a symbol to be transmitted to the pointing device; and a transmitting unit which generates a transmission signal which includes a chip string CN1 which is obtained by cyclically shifting, by a shift quantity based on the value of the symbol to be transmitted, a code string PNa which has autocorrelation characteristics, and transmits the generated transmission signal via the touch screen to the pointing device.
