Abstract:
[Problem] To prevent a stylus 2 from failing to detect an uplink signal, and further prevent the uplink signal from affecting the operation of other devices. [Solution] A sensor controller 13 connected to a sensor electrode group 12 constituting a surface. This sensor controller 13 supplies a predetermined AC signal to one or more AC signal transmission electrodes configured from at least some of a plurality of sensor electrodes constituting the sensor electrode group 12, and transmits a cancel signal from a cancel signal transmission electrode different from the one or more AC signal transmission electrodes, said cancel signal preventing signals transmitted from the one or more AC signal transmission electrodes from appearing at the ground terminal of the detection circuit of the stylus 2.
