Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a novel sensor and controller using a conductive fabric. The sensor according to the present disclosure has an elastic member and a conductive fabric portion disposed on at least part of the surface of the elastic member, wherein the conductive fabric portion thereby stretches when the elastic member is deformed, the conductive fabric portion is configured such that an electric resistance value increases and decreases in accordance with a stretching ratio, and a detection unit is provided for detecting parameters corresponding to the electrical resistance values between multiple pairs of points in an in-plane direction in the conductive fabric portion. The controller according to the present disclosure has a transmission unit that transmits a signal corresponding to the parameters detected by the detection unit and the sensor according to the present disclosure.
