Title:
SENSOR, DETECTION METHOD, DETECTION SYSTEM, AND DETECTION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/003075
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a sensor for determining whether a sample contains a first substance. In one embodiment of the present invention, the sensor is provided with a substrate. In one embodiment of the present invention, the sensor for determining whether a sample contains a first substance is provided with a detection unit comprising a second substance having a bond that reacts with hydrogen peroxide and breaks, said second substance being immobilized on the surface of the substrate. With regards to the sensor for determining whether a sample contains a first substance, in one embodiment of the present invention, a sample that has been brought into contact with an enzyme that generates hydrogen peroxide through a reaction with the first substance is introduced into the detection unit.
