Abstract:
A sensor device (1) is supplied with electric power from a battery (99) in a period in which a starting switch (26) is turned off, and the sensor device can continue at least partial operation. A sensor input processing unit (30, 300) has a sensor element (31), an input computational processing circuit (32), and a storage unit (35). The input computational processing circuit (32) computes sensor information that corresponds to a detection value from the sensor element (31). The storage unit (35) stores abnormality information that includes power source failure information. Voltage holding circuits (51-54) are provided to a battery feeder line (Lb) that supplies electric power from the battery (99) to the sensor input processing unit (30) without going through the starting switch (26), and when there is a temporary drop in voltage from the battery (99), a voltage that at least enables data in the storage unit (35) to be retained can be supplied to the sensor input processing unit (30, 300).
