Abstract:
In a rotation detection device 1 according to this invention, three accommodation parts 32 are provided in a case 3, and each of the accommodation parts 32 has a sensor element 4 attached thereto. Each accommodation part 32 has a reference wall part 33 that touches a reference surface 43 of the corresponding sensor element 4. An element body 41 of the sensor element 4 has a distal part that touches a tapered part 36 of the accommodation part 32. A lead terminal 42 of the sensor element 4 is guided by a guide protrusion 37 provided above the accommodation part 32. A connection hole 51 that is large enough not to touch the lead terminal 42 is provided in a substrate 5. While being inserted in the connection hole 51, the lead terminal 42 is soldered therein. This prevents springback, and the like, from occurring in the lead terminal 42 even after soldering.
