Abstract:

Provided are a sensor-equipped sealing device for a rolling bearing device, in which sufficient magnetic force is available for the sensor, and a rolling bearing device for a vehicle, using the sensor-equipped sealing device. A rolling bearing device (1) for a vehicle has a sensor-equipped sealing device having an annular slinger (10) fixed to an inner shaft (2), a magnetic encoder (11) co-rotatably fixed to the slinger (10), a core (14) fixed to an outer ring (3) and having a seal member (15) in sliding contact with the slinger (10), and a sensor section (12) having a magnetic sensor (13) for detecting relative rotation between the outer ring (3) and the inner ring (2) based on a change of magnetic poles by the magnetic encoder (11). The magnetic encoder (11) is constructed from a plastic magnet containing magnetic powder having magnetism oriented to a predetermined direction.
