Provided is a sensor mounting structure for mounting a temperature measuring sensor 30 to a unit battery 10, the unit battery 10 being provided with an electrode terminal 14P, a battery case 11, and an insulator 21P. The battery case 11 is provided with a lid plate 13, and an outer surface of the lid plate 13 serves as an electrode disposition surface 13F. The insulator 21P is a member which is assembled to the lid plate 13 and which holds the electrode terminal 14P while insulating the electrode terminal 14P from the lid plate 13. Further, the temperature measuring sensor 30 is provided with a temperature detection section 31 which holds the temperature detection element 41 and has a temperature detection surface 31F that is in contact with the electrode disposition surface 13F, and an assembly section 51 which is provided with a pair of engagement arms 54, 54 that engage with the insulator 21P and which brings the temperature detection element 41 into close contact with the electrode disposition surface 13F.
