Abstract:
Disclosed is a sensor that can accurately detect displacement and prevents the phenomenon of a shaft member and the contact section of a sliding element receiver being displaced. The sensor has: a case that has a through hole; a resistance substrate that is affixed within the aforementioned case; a shaft member of which a first end that is one of the ends is disposed within the aforementioned case, a second end that is the other end is exposed at the outside of the aforementioned case through the aforementioned through hole, and the shaft member is disposed movably in the axial direction in the aforementioned through hole; and a sliding element receiver to which a brush that slides against the aforementioned resistance substrate is attached, that has a bearing end that contacts the aforementioned second end of the aforementioned shaft member, and that moves relatively with respect to the aforementioned resistance substrate along with the aforementioned shaft member. A hemispherical surface is formed at the aforementioned first end, and a hemispherical hole to which the aforementioned hemispherical surface is inscribed is formed at the aforementioned bearing end.
