Abstract:
Disclosed is a sensor, comprising a case member that houses a resistance substrate and a mobile element that slides with respect to the resistance substrate, and wherein an aperture is formed that fits with the resistance substrate; a connector member, further comprising a connector terminal, a cover unit that closes the aperture, and a connector unit that is connected to an external terminal; and a clip that makes elastic contact with, and is electrically connected to, the connector terminal and the resistance substrate. The clip further comprises a fulcrum, a first leg unit, and a second leg unit, which extend in two directions from the fulcrum; and also has either an approximate V-shaped or approximate U-shaped cross-section. The clip hooks with an end unit of the resistance substrate in a state wherein the resistance substrate is sandwiched between the first leg unit and the second leg unit. A housing depression is formed in the connector member in a position facing the resistance substrate, the housing depression further comprising a first lateral wall that makes contact with the external face of the first leg member, and a second lateral wall that makes contact with the external face of the second leg unit. At least one of the first lateral wall or the second lateral wall is an exposed component wherein a portion of the connector terminal is exposed from a resin.
