Abstract:
 A sensor according to a first embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a flow passage through which an analyte flows; a first detection unit situated on the flow passage, the first detection unit having a first ligand capable of bonding specifically to a first substance in the analyte; and a second detection unit situated on the flow passage at a location downstream from the first detection unit, the second detection unit having a second ligand capable of bonding specifically to the first substance and to a second substance in the analyte. A sensor according to a second embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a flow passage through which an analyte flows; a first detection unit situated on the flow passage, the first detection unit having a first ligand capable of bonding specifically to a first substance in the analyte; and a second detection unit situated on the flow passage at a location downstream from the first detection unit, the second detection unit having a second ligand capable of bonding specifically to a second substance in the analyte, the concentration of the first substance in the analyte being lower than the concentration of the second substance.
