Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for determining the position of an actuating unit that is operated by an electric motor. According to said method, a rotational speed of a motor is determined from a motor model, the rotational speed prevailing over a certain period of time is integrated, and the position of the actuating unit is determined by multiplying the result of the integration by a proportionality factor. The motor model takes into account afterrunning of the electric motor at the switch-off time. The invention further relates to actuating units, brakes, pumps, and transmissions with which said method can be used.
