Description:
DESCRIPTION

SEPARABLE SLEEVE-COUPLING SYSTEM FOR DEEP HOLE PIPES

The invention is related with a separate sleeve-coupling system for deep hole pipes made of PVC-based hard plastic material.

At present, the pipes used for casing in probe holes are joined by a fixed sleeve-coupling system.

In such a fixed sleeve-coupling system, first such deep hole pipes are manufactured, then a fixed sleeve-coupling system is made at one end of the pipe through a second thermal process, by enlarging the diameter of the pipe at one end and by threading inside of that part.

As a fixed sleeve-coupling system is made by enlarging the diameter and by threading at one end of the pipe, the wall thickness of that part becomes thinner and thus, the strength of pipe diminishes in the technique used at present.

Moreover, as the end of pipe is enlarged and threaded without centering on that enlarged and threaded section, the axis of the pipeline deviates increasingly when pipes are joined one another and this makes installation and drilling work more difficult.

This inventions aims to eliminate such problems in the existing technique.

For this reason, a separable sleeve-coupling system is developed for deep hole pipes.

In the subject-matter invention, after PVC deep hole pipes are extruded, they may be easily joined one another by a separate sleeve, without need of a second thermal process and without shaping the end of pipe into a fixed sleeve.

The invented system eliminates the problems related with the inner diameter, axis deviation between the ends of pipe, loss of strength in the pipe and provides great easiness for manufacture and installation.

The invented separable sleeve-coupling system is shown in Figure- 1, Figure-2 and Figure-3. Accordingly, Figure- 1 shows the cross - section of the sleeve which is the main component of the invented system. Figure-2 shows the thread structure of the sleeve. Figure-3 shows two pipes joined by a separable sleeve-coupling system.

In this invented separable sleeve-coupling system for deep hole pipes, the sleeve made of PVC-based hard material through extrusion or injection method is the principal component (1)

In this invented separable sleeve-coupling system, the sleeve (1) has trapezoidal threads (3), tapered at both ends (2), turned on a lathe.

In order to couple the sleeve (1) onto the pipe (4) easily, the outer surface of the pipe ends (5) are equipped with trapezoidal threads (6).

The pipes (4) are turned on a lathe between two centers during threading process and thus, this invented system does not show any deviation of axis seen in the fixed sleeve-coupling system.

In the invented system, the trapezoidal threads (3) inside the sleeve (1) and the trapezoidal threads outside (6) outside the ends of pipe (5) are harmonious and a more excellent joint is provided by screwing them to one another, compared to the fixed sleeve system.

In the invented system, the sleeves maybe stocked separately and thus, the joints of pipes are prevented from bending due to piling.
