Title:
SEPARATED HANDLEBARS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/221223
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to achieve separated handlebars for vehicle, which can contribute to weight savings without increasing the size of the vehicle. A right handlebar 23 is equipped with a cylindrical part 33, a right handle bar part 25 and a handlebar connecting part 34. The cylindrical part 33 has at least one slit part 32 which fragments the cylindrical part 33 in the circumferential direction, and which allows elastic deformation of the cylindrical part 33 in the circumferential direction, to enable the cylindrical part to be fixed to a steering shaft. The cylindrical part 33 is made from fiber-reinforced resin obtained by bonding with resin a plurality of fiber sheets stacked in the radial direction so as to achieve a greater strength in the circumferential direction rather than in the axial direction. The handlebar connecting part 34 includes a fiber-reinforced resin obtained by bonding with resin a plurality of fiber sheets stacked in a direct perpendicular with respect to a virtual line 40 linking the part at which the right handlebar part 25 is connected and the part at which the cylindrical part 33 is connected.
