Abstract:
The present invention provides a feature that facilitates replacement of separation columns. A separation column connection device of the present disclosure comprises: a drive device that supports first piping along a first direction, and moves the first piping along the first direction; a fixing member that fixes second piping along the first direction such that the second piping faces the first piping; a column case that is disposed between the first piping and the second piping, and that has a first hole to which the first piping communicates and a second hole to which the second piping communicates; and a linking mechanism that causes the column case to move in the first direction in conjunction with the movement of the first piping. A column cartridge that holds a separation column is detachable with respect to the column case, and the drive device causes the first piping and the linking mechanism to move so as to reversibly adopt two states, namely, a closed state in which the separation column is pressed and sandwiched between the first piping and the second piping, and an open state in which the first piping and the second piping are positioned to the outside of the column case.
