Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a separation device capable of suppressing the generation of sound when a rotating body is rotated. An outer cylinder (2) has a gas inlet (23) at a first end (21) and a gas outlet (24) at a second end (22). A rotating body (3) is disposed inside the outer cylinder (2). The rotating body (3) is disposed such that a rotation center shaft thereof is aligned with a central axis of the outer cylinder (2). A plurality of blades (36) are disposed between the rotating body (3) and the outer cylinder (2) at intervals in the circumferential direction of the rotating body (3) and, from among the rotating body (3) and the outer cylinder (2), are provided integrally with the rotating body (3). A motor (4) rotates the rotating body (3) about the rotation center shaft in one direction. The outer cylinder (2) has, between the first end (21) and the second end (22), discharge holes (25) that penetrate in the thickness direction of the outer cylinder (2). At least some of the discharge holes (25) have a long, narrow slit shape in a direction inclined with respect to a direction parallel to the rotation center shaft.
