Abstract:
A separation and purification method for N-acetylglucosamine of the present invention relates to the technical field of bioengineering. In the present invention, a raw material liquid containing N-acetylglucosamine is obtained by means of microbial fermentation or the hydrolysis of chitin, the raw material liquid is subjected to flocculation pretreatment, and suspended solids such as microorganisms, proteins and polysaccharides are removed by continuous centrifugation or filter pressing so as to obtain a clear liquid. Impurities such as charged organic molecules and inorganic salts are then removed by passing through two-stage ion exchange chromatography. Water is efficiently removed by means of membrane concentration, and the concentration of a target product is increased. Finally, N-acetylglucosamine crystals having a purity of more than 99% are dried and obtained by spray drying or by further evaporating, concentrating and crystallizing.
