Abstract:
The present invention relates to a separator for an electrochemical device, the separator comprising a porous base material and an inorganic coating layer formed on at least one side surface of the base material. The inorganic coating layer comprises a binder resin and inorganic particles, the binder resin comprising a polyvinylidene-fluoride-based polymer resin and having a low electrolyte absorption rate. The separator according to the present invention has excellent adhesion to an electrode, while having low resistance.
