Abstract:
A separator for a grinding and cleaning material, the separator having a simple configuration and capable of automatically collecting foreign matter without requiring cleaning.
A separator (6) for a grinding and cleaning material separates the grinding and cleaning material from a mixture of the grinding and cleaning material and foreign matter. A sieve (14) having a large number of openings for allowing the grinding and cleaning material (31) to drop therethrough is provided within the separator body (12) provided with a supply opening (6a) and a discharge opening (6b). The sieve (14) is sloped, and a flow of air leading from the upper side to the lower side of the slope is created over the sieve (14). As a result, foreign matter (32) which does not drop from the sieve (14) is collected in a foreign matter holder (7).
