Abstract:

The present invention relates to a separator for a lithium secondary battery and a lithium secondary battery comprising the separator, the separator for a lithium secondary battery comprising: a polyolefin-based porous substrate; and a coating layer disposed on at least one side of the polyolefin-based porous substrate, wherein the coefficient of performance Q1 of the polyolefin-based porous substrate as represented by formula 1 is 1.2 (gf/nm·μm) or more, the coefficient of performance Q2 of the polyolefin-based porous substrate as represented by formula 2 is 0.25 (gf/nm·%) or more, and the coating layer comprises a binder and inorganic particles.
