Abstract:
A separator for a non-aqueous secondary cell provided with a porous substrate and an adhesive porous layer provided on one or both sides of the porous substrate, the non-aqueous secondary cell containing a polyvinylidene fluoride resin A having vinylidene fluoride monomer units and hexafluoropropylene monomer units, and the proportion of the hexafluoropropylene monomer units out of the total of the vinylidene fluoride monomer units and the hexafluoropropylene monomer units is more than 1.5 mol% and no more than 5 mol%, and a polyvinylidene fluoride resin B having vinylidene fluoride monomer units and hexafluoropropylene monomer units such that the proportion of the hexafluoropropylene monomer units out of the total of the vinylidene fluoride monomer units and the hexafluoropropylene monomer units is more than 5 mol% and no more than 15 mol%. The weighted average of the weight-average molecular weight of the polyvinylidene fluoride resin A and the weight-average molecular weight of the polyvinylidene fluoride resin B is 600,000-2,000,000 inclusive.
