Abstract:
Disclosed are a separator for an electrochemical device, comprising a polyolefin microporous membrane and a heat-resistant layer being formed on at least one surface of the polyolefin microporous membrane, wherein the heat-resistant layer comprises at least one heat-resistant polymer and at least one inorganic filler in a weight ratio ranging from 100: 3 to 100: 30; as well as an electrochemical device including the separator and a method for making the separator.
