Abstract:
Provided are: a method for excising a septal wall (120) of an esophageal diverticulum (110); and an endoscope treatment tool (1) suitable for the method. The treatment tool (1) has a first wire (21) and a second wire (31). The distal ends of both of the wires (21, 31) are connected to each other via an insulating tip (23). The first wire (21) is covered with a first insulating tube (25) that is movable relative to the wire (21), and the second wire (31) is covered with a second insulating tube (35) that is movable relative to the wire (31). Sub sliders (55-56) of an operation part (50) can be used to selectively switch between a first state, in which the second insulating tube (35) covers the second wire (31), and a second state, in which the first insulating tube (25) covers the first wire (21). Both of the wires (21, 31) protrude from a sheath (10), a high frequency current is supplied to the first wire (21), and a first groove (121) is formed in the septal wall (120) by means of the wire (21). Next, the first wire (21) is covered with the first insulating tube (25), a high-frequency current is supplied to the second wire (31), and a second groove (122) is formed in the septal wall (120) by means of the wire (31).
