Abstract:
A serial bus connector, comprising a fixed portion (120, 180) fixed in a metal case (100), and further comprising first and second terminal groups (140, 200) provided so as to mirror each other across an axis of the metal case, part of the first and second terminal groups being fixed at the fixed portion. The fixed portion is formed with a transmission channel in a direction coaxial with the metal case. In the transmission channel is fixed an elastic frame (160) and a circuit board (220). The elastic frame is connected to an extension portion coaxial with the metal case, and the first and second terminal groups. The elastic frame is used to bear a main deforming elastic force upon insertion, thereby reducing a force load on the terminal groups, ensuring a reliable return to position upon insertion or removal, and moreover avoiding short circuits and false connections upon insertion. Further provided is a reliable conductor connection technique that avoids welding, decreasing manufacturing and environmental costs. In addition, the centrally symmetrical joining mode of the transmission channel remarkably simplifies production processes.
