Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a serial data transmission device which, when a plurality of data transmission devices are daisy-chained and serial data is transmitted, is able to dynamically switch a band and a data transmission path while performing multiplex transmission of data by a time division multiplex (TDM) method, and improve stability to failure. [Solution] Provided is a serial data transmission device equipped with: a reception unit which is daisy-chained to another device and receives data serially transmitted by the TDM method; a transmission unit which is daisy-chained to another device and serially transmits data by the TDM method; and a control unit which controls the serial transmission by the reception unit and the transmission unit, wherein the control unit performs control for making the serial transmission by the transmission unit variable.
