The present application provides a series-fed antenna, a communication device, and a method for manufacturing the series-fed antenna. The series-fed antenna comprises: a first substrate, a first metal dielectric being provided on the lower surface of the first substrate; and a second substrate, the second substrate being provide above the first substrate. A second metal dielectric is provided between the second substrate and the first substrate; a plurality of plated holes are provided in the second metal dielectric, the first substrate, and the first metal dielectric; a region from the first metal dielectric to the second metal dielectric is formed by means of the plurality of plated holes; at least one gap is formed in the second metal dielectric; the at least one gap is located in the region; at least one radiation patch is provided on the upper surface of the second substrate; the at least one gap corresponds to the at least one radiation patch. The series-fed antenna provided in embodiments of the present application can increase the working bandwidth of the series-fed antenna, and has a simple structure and a small occupied area.
