Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a series-hybrid-type straddle vehicle with which it is possible to increase output while suppressing an increase in size. This series-hybrid-type straddle vehicle comprises a power generation unit that includes: a power generation engine arranged so as to be displaced in a first direction from the center of the straddle vehicle in the left-right direction of the straddle vehicle, which comprises the first direction and a second direction opposite the first direction, the power generation engine not overlapping a drive motor as viewed from the left-right direction; and a generator arranged so as to be positioned farther in the second direction than the power generation engine, the generator having an overlap with the power generation engine as viewed from the left-right direction, not overlapping the drive motor as viewed from the left-right direction, being driven by the power generation engine, and generating power for driving the drive motor, the power generation unit not being supported by a rear arm, and being supported by a frame body so as to constitute a frame structure, or so as not to constitute the frame structure.
