Abstract:
Provided is a series-hybrid-type vehicle which can acquire a charge amount of a battery even during traveling. A series-hybrid-type vehicle according to the present invention is provided with a control device which acquires a charge amount of a battery during the operation of an engine for power generation, wherein, in a period in which the charge amount of the battery is acquired, the control device controls the engine for power generation, a converter, and an inverter so as to increase or decrease a current to be supplied to the inverter on the basis of an acceleration instruction or a deceleration instruction by a driver of the series-hybrid-type vehicle, the command being received from a propelling instructing unit. Here, the control device controls the current from the converter to flow to the inverter and not the battery.
