Abstract:
A series pulse generator applicable to a pulse power supply, comprising a pulse transformer. A primary side of the pulse transformer is formed by N pulse voltage generator units which are connected in series in sequence, each pulse voltage generator unit comprising a power supply, a resonant capacitor, a switch tube, an RCD buffer circuit, and a diode. A first output end of a secondary side of the pulse transformer is connected with a coupling capacitor; the coupling capacitor is connected with an equivalent load; the equivalent load is connected with a second output end of the secondary side of the pulse transformer; and the second output end of the pulse transformer is also connected to the ground. The series pulse generator is intended to lower the voltage of each switch tube when the pulse voltage on the load is kept at a certain value, or greatly improve the pulse voltage on the load when the voltage on each switch tube is kept at a certain value by means of modularizing the series pulse generator. The series pulse generator can obtain a relatively high initial voltage by means of connecting multiple fundamental resonance units in series, and thus can obtain a relatively high output pulse voltage.
