Abstract:
Server architecture, a database query method, and a computer-readable storage medium. The server architecture comprises: a processor; and at least one database acceleration chip connected to the processor by means of a high-speed serial interface. The database acceleration chip and the processor are in a heterogeneous working mode, and the database acceleration chip is used for supporting database retrieval tasks. Instead of using a processor as a single core as in existing hardware platforms, the server architecture uses the processor and the database acceleration chip as dual cores, such that upon the reception of a database retrieval task, the processor transfers the retrieval task to the database acceleration chip for processing, thereby preventing affecting the use of other functions of the server. Because the database acceleration chip is specifically used to perform database retrieval tasks, the process of transferring data packets from the processor is cancelled, thereby reducing the data communication delay, thus improving database detection efficiency.
