Abstract:
Disclosed is a technology for allowing the IP address of user equipment to be reported with a device trigger acknowledge message. According to this technology, a communication terminal includes: a control message reception unit for receiving from a network a control message sent from a predetermined communication device and generated on the basis of a trigger request message that requests the transmission of the control message to the communication terminal; a determination unit for determining whether to communicate with the predetermined communication device with IP packets; a connection management unit for acquiring the IP address assigned to an IP connection to be used for communication with the predetermined communication device, when it is determined that the communication is to be made with IP packets when the control message reception unit receives the control message; and an acknowledge message transmission unit for sending to the network an acknowledge message that includes the IP address acquired by the connection management unit, the acknowledge message being a response to the control message.
