Abstract:
A server provided with: an operating information acquisition unit for acquiring operating information from each of one or more devices disposed in a target area in accordance with a first layout, the operating information including identification information for identifying the device and operating state information indicating the operating state of the device; a storage control device for causing a storage device to store the operating information acquired from the one or more devices; a first prediction unit for using stored operating information that is stored in the storage device to generate first prediction data that includes a predicted value of future operating state of a target device, among the one or more devices, that is disposed at a first position in the target area in accordance with the first layout; a layout information acquisition unit for acquiring changed layout information pertaining to a second layout different from the first layout, the second layout being such that the target device is disposed at a second position different from the first position in the target area; and a second prediction unit which, when the changed layout information is acquired, uses the changed layout information and the stored operating information to generate second prediction data that includes a predicted value of the future operating state of the target device disposed at the second position in the target area.
